Where Rustic meets New!  Older Rustic cottage with wood walls, ceilings and floors with a New Modern Addition.  Older section is very comfortable and cozy with Living Room, Kitchen/Dining Area, 3 bedrooms and a 3 piece bath.  Bedroom 1 has 4 bunkbeds (great for kids), Bedroom 2 has two bunkbeds with office space, and Bedroom 3 has a double bed.  The kitchen is stocked and has a fridge, stove, microwave and dishwasher. There is a gorgeous stone fireplace that is actually two sided with viewing from both the older section and the new section. 

The new addition has a Modern Hanover kitchen, fully stocked and with stovetop, fridge and microwave.  The living/dining area is ideal for those relaxing days/evenings.  The Masterbedroom has a queen size bed, a huge walk in closet with laundry facility and ensuite four piece bathroom with jacuzzi tub.

The cottage is bright, cheery and comfortable.  Hardwood floors throughout.  Large flat screen TV in new section.  5 skylights throughout and lots of windows to enjoy the beautiful views of gardens and
Cameron Lake.

   This is an ideal area for swimming--the water is clear, and warm with a sandy bottom.  There is an excellent swimming area with wonderful sandy bottom just in front (to the left).  For the naturalists, boating on Cameron Lake is excellent for canoes and kayaks--find the river that flows through to Cyprus Lake and explore.  Hiking is ideal with trails through to Cyprus Lake and the Bruce Trail, and just a short way from this cottage.  Only one side of Cameron Lake is developed--all of the opposite side is National Park.  There is a dock at the shore for your canoe or kayak or just for relaxing--watch the gorgeous sunrise over the lake with your morning coffee.

You are only minutes to all the activity in Tobermory...nightly entertainment, fine dining, glass bottom boat tours, the Sweet Shop, shopping, sight seeing, the Bruce Trial, golfing and a medical clinic.

CHILD SAFETY ISSUES:
Stairs down to the shoreline are rough in spots and may not be suitable for people or children with limited mobility.

Children should not be left unattended at the dock or water front.

Parents are responsible for the safety of their children.

  • Maximum number of people: 6 adults or up to 10 people with a minimum of 2 children in the group

  • No Smoking permitted in cottage  
  • Linens and Towels (including dish towels) not supplied
  • Renters are responsible for leaving the cottage clean at the end of the rental period
  • Septic system--care and use of water and flushing facilities very important. DO NOT FLUSH ANYTHING OTHER THAN HUMAN WASTE AND SMALL AMOUNTS OF TOILET TISSUE
  • Noise limitation:  10:00 pm
  • Renters are reminded that your safety is your responsibility (use the lake, property and items supplied in and around the cottage with due care and at your own risk)
